One of my last projects during my time as a 3D Environment Designer was a media/press event held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The event was held to promote the release of the live-action remake of the animated How To Train Your Dragon, and featured realistic, life-size Dragon sculptures, screen-used costumes & props, other props accenting multiple photo ops, axe-throwing, jewelry-making, a live Viking band, mead tasting, and a Viking feast. My responsibilities included 3D rendering design concepts for turning a luxury hotel space into a believable scene of an established IP and creating build guides & templates for graphic design & fabrication teams.
